Dirty Girl Mud Run!

I first heard about the Dirty Girl Mud Run a couple of months ago. It sounded like such a blast, and when I found out that it was coming to St. Louis, I wanted to participate. Recently, I was asked to be a Blogger Ambassador for the Mud Run, and I am so honored and thrilled! I can't wait until September 7!

According to the website, the Dirty Girl is a "5k womens only run for women of all ages and athletic abilities. Don't worry, it's not a 'race' in the traditional sense. It is an untimed obstacle course designed to push you slightly out of your comfort zone, but only as far as you are comfortable going. Forming teams is encouraged, and so is helping your fellow Dirty Girls get through to the finish. At a Dirty Girl Mud Run you'll find excitement, laughter, and camaraderie—as well as lots of music and even some adult beverages. It's a day you'll never forget."

The obstacle course is aimed toward women of all athletic abilities, and if something seems too difficult, there's no shame in going around. With obstacles named "Funky Monkey" and H2OMG", this event is all about having fun! You can gather friends together and form a team, or run on your own. Costumes are encouraged! After the race you can hose off and enjoy entertainment and drinks! The event promises to be a day filled with fun and camaraderie, and a portion of all registration fees is donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

The organizers of the Dirty Girl Mud Run are offering a discount to my readers. When signing up, put the code DGSTLBLOGGUEST in the discount box to receive 20% off your entry fee! This code is only good once, and only for the St. Louis event.

Are you planning on getting Dirty? Come and find me at the event!
