WIAW #21: Long Time No See!

I haven't posted a WIAW in about 7 weeks, but things are starting to get back on track, and here we are!

On Mondays, I go to Trivia at a local coffee shop, Shameless Grounds. Hubby usually goes with me, but he has a class on Monday nights, so my buddy Matt has been coming along. This past week was spring break, so our duo was a trio, with me, Matt, and the Hubbs putting our noggins together and testing our pop culture knowledge. We wound up winning first place, bringing home a $10 gift certificate!

Hubby enjoyed the french bread pizza, loaded with meats and veggies, along with a side of Billy Goat chips: locally made, crispy, and some of the best chips we've ever had!

Matt had the "Chauvinist Pig", which has ham, pulled pork, bacon, and BBQ sauce. He had a side of baked potato salad.

I also had the "Pig", but I get mine with cheese sauce instead of BBQ, and I always get those yummy chips! the bread is not gluten free, but I've discovered that if I really watch the gluten intake, I can splurge once in a while on something like this.

Hubbs and I split a Screamer, which is a rich chocolate and espresso shake. It's SO good!

The trivia game is always a ton of fun, and most of the time, it's the same crowd, and we're all rowdy and in general high spirits. The food is amazing, the company is great, and the game is always a blast! It's become a Monday night tradition and something I look forward to every week.

Otherwise, I haven't done much yet this week. I'm going to be volunteering at Wizard World Comic Con from Thursday through Sunday, so I'm mostly taking it easy, because the weekend is going to be hectic! I'll have a Post-Con report on Monday or Tuesday.

Last night I enjoyed a skillet crisp tilapia filet and some broccoli/cheese rice. A nice, simple dinner. Snacks have been light as well, I tried a couple of new products: Crunchmaster Cheezy Crisps, a gluten free cracker, and Earnest Bars, a gluten free snack bar, similar to a granola bar. I've also been working (slowly) on a box of Girl Scout Cookies. I keep them in the freezer and have only been eating one or two at a time, since they're not gluten free. However, I just can't resist them!

My walking has been getting back on track as well. Last week I did three miles overall, and so far this week I'm up to two miles. I have a 5K race on April 6, part of the Go! St. Louis Marathon Weekend. I'll be attending the Health and Wellness Expo on the 5, and my husband will be joining me for the race the following day. I'll make sure to post a full report on both events!

What did you eat this week?
